Oklahoma Drug and Alcohol Professional Counselor's Association (ODAPCA) is a representative body that is your voice concerning legislation, we protect you whereas the Licensure Board protects the public. Membership runs July 1 through June 30 and is renewable yearly at $75.00.
(ODAPCA) is the advocacy and membership organization for certified (CADC), licensed (LADC) alcohol drug counselors and certification organization for (CPS) certified prevention specialists in the state of Oklahoma.
In Oklahoma ODAPCA represents certified, licensed addiction counselors and certified prevention specialists with the hope of creating one voice that will represent and advocate for the needs of addiction professionals across the state.
ODAPCA has two levels of membership for addiction counselors 1) Full membership and 2) Field membership.
A (Full Member) is a person working in the Drug and Alcohol field who is currently certified (CADC) or licensed (LADC) in the state of Oklahoma. Membership to ODAPCA is renewable on a yearly basis and runs July 1 through June 30.
A (Field Member) is a person working, interning or volunteering in the Drug and Alcohol field who is a student or who has filed their application with the OBLADC, is under supervision but is not yet Certified (CADC) or Licensed (LADC). Membership to ODAPCA is renewable on a yearly basis and runs July 1 through June 30.

Counselors who are currently Certified (CADC) or Licensed (LADC) by the Oklahoma Board of Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselors (OBLADC) are eligible to be IC&RC certified.
With your IC&RC credential, you will be recognized in 44 states, the District of Columbia, 2 US territories, 12 global jurisdictions, all of the armed forces, the Department of Transportation and the World Federation of Therapeutic Communities. Over 35,000 addiction professionals currently belong to IC & RC Member Boards. IC & RC was the first reciprocity certification in the addiction field and remains the benchmark credential in our industry.
