ICRC Certification

Counselors who were credentialed by ODAPCCB prior to November 1, 2005 and/or any counselor credentialed by the Oklahoma Board of Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselors (OBLADC) after November 1, 2005 and who are currently credentialed by OBLADC are eligible to be ICRC certified.

With your ICRC credential, you will be recognized in 44 states, 18 foreign countries, all of the armed forces and the Department of Transportation. ICRC was the first reciprocity certification in the addiction field and remains the benchmark credential in our industry. If you wish to obtain the ICRC credential you should submit to the ODAPCA office the following three (3) items:

1. A copy of your credential (wallet card is acceptable) from the OBLADC.
2. A brief summary statement reflecting your work in and contribution to the field of alcoholism and drug abuse treatment during the past year.
3. IC & RC fee of $62.50
